When a multinational oil and gas company needed a better way to connect to their extensive supplier network, they turned to their Logistics Service Provider (LSP), GEODIS. By leveraging MPO’s Multi-Party Orchestration platform, with robust solutions, such as the supply chain control tower, GEODIS was able to connect to over 1,000 suppliers and carriers, gain real-time visibility and exceptions management, and automated control over import and export trade documents for international orders. Through the MPO platform, they achieved real-time, continuous control over the flow of supply chain activities (“Customer Chain Control”), enabling GEODIS to optimize every purchase order against service levels, inventory, transportation, and costs. In so doing, they were able to significantly enhance their customer's efficiency and generate incredible cost-savings.
