THE ROLE OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

We're looking to recruit a smart, ambitious and supply chain savvy Business Development Manager (BDM) to help our team take our growth to the next level.

As BDM for EMEA, you will be part of a highly energetic, high-performance sales culture. You will be the first point of contact for prospects arriving from our demand generation programs, drive our outbound sales efforts and be the master of commercial events.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Business Development Manager will help drive new business by:

  • Following up on Marketing Qualified Leads
  • Planning & executing outbound sales campaigns
  • Applying creative lead generation messages and methods
  • Managing the event calendar and organized presence on trade shows
  • Finding the right decision makers and influencers within enterprise accounts
  • Establishing relationships with the decision-making unit and the other influencers
  • Understanding buying personas such as COO, VP Supply Chain, Logistics Director
  • Explaining about the value of the MPO SaaS platform for supply chain improvements
  • Asking the right questions to find out if there will be a sales opportunity
  • Setting follow-up appointments with prospects for further opportunity discovery
  • Doing proper handovers of SQLs to the Sales Executives
  • Working closely with the Marketing and Sales teams.

WHAT DOES IT TAKE?

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • 1-3 years of experience in enterprise software sales as a BDR, BDM, or Inside Sales
  • Excellent written and verbal international communication skills
  • Strong desire to master this role and take on challenges
  • Understanding of supply chains and logistics
  • A passion to learn and grow in the job
  • University Degree or equivalent
  • Fluent in English (or more)
